About White Tiger Qigong
Is White Tiger Qigong a legitimate Qigong school?
Yes. White Tiger Qigong is a Daoist medical Qigong school founded by Tevia Feng, who has been practicing Qigong since the age of seven and teaching publicly for over two decades. We are based in Vietnam and teach students in more than eighty countries through our online academy, in-person retreats, and certified teacher training programs. Our curriculum integrates classical Daoist Qigong with modern fascia, biomechanics, and neuroscience research. Honest Answers from the School Itself.
What lineage does White Tiger Qigong come from?
"White Tiger" — Bai Hu in Mandarin — is a directional and elemental term in classical Daoist cosmology, referring to the spirit animal of the West, the direction of Metal, and the Lung organ system. It has been used by many lineages over centuries and is not the property of any single school. White Tiger Qigong as we teach it is its own transmission, named for the same cosmological principle. Our system is the synthesis of Tevia Feng's lifetime of training and integrates Five Animal Qigong, Five Element Qigong, Eight Trigram Organ Qigong, Dragon Meridian Qigong, and Breathwork Mastery into a structured, sequenced curriculum.
Why doesn't Tevia Feng appear in most of the public marketing?
This is a deliberate choice rooted in Daoist tradition. The teacher is not the spectacle; the practice is. The conical hat that has become a signature of our brand is a quiet reminder of that lineage value. When students come to our in-person retreats and teacher trainings, they train directly with Tevia. Online students learn from him through every course. We are also a school, not a personality brand — our certified instructors around the world represent the lineage publicly because the school is bigger than any one person and is built to outlive its founder.
