What the levels mean
Your level is the number of teacher trainings you have finished
Every White Tiger Qigong teacher training is a full system with its own curriculum, its own assessment and its own certificate. Finish one and you are Level 1. Finish four and you are Level 4. There is no ceiling. When we release a new training the number simply keeps going, and nobody's existing level ever moves down.
Why we count instead of ranking
5 Animal Summer Roads and 5 Animal Winter Roads are two separate trainings with two separate certificates, so they are two levels, not one. Qigong Breathwork is a system in its own right, so it counts too.
We are adding more trainings. 11 Pieces of Brocade is in development. When it opens, Level 7 becomes possible on its own, with nothing on this page needing to be rewritten.
What the title means
Titles follow the count
The number is the fact. The title is shorthand for where that number sits.
Specialty certifications
Certifications that sit beside the count
A specialty certifies an application of the work rather than a qigong system, so it does not add to the level number. It is still a full certification with its own training and its own assessment. A teacher can hold a level, a specialty, or both.
Chinese Medicine for Qigong Teachers is in development and will appear here as a specialty when it opens.
