White Tiger Qigong

THE DRAGON LINE by Tevia Feng

The stiffness you can't stretch away lives in your fascia.

Fascia runs from your feet to your skull and carries force along the way. This book teaches 13 movements that load it on purpose.

Sound familiar?

You've done the work. You're still stiff.

  • You've done yoga for years, and your lower back is still stiff.
  • Your neck and shoulders feel tight most days.
  • You turn to look over your shoulder, and your whole upper back turns with you.
  • You brace before you bend forward. Every time.
  • You've read about fascia. No one has shown you what to do with it.
  • You want to know it's real before you give it 20 minutes a day.

Why more stretching doesn't fix it

A stretch works on a muscle. A muscle joins two points and pulls them together. That's all it does.

But tension doesn't stay between two points. It travels. Move your foot, and the tension at the base of your skull changes.

So you stretch harder. You hold longer. You add another class. The stiffness comes back, because a stretch works one spot and the tension runs along a line.

The idea behind the book

One body. Two maps.

Two traditions drew maps of how force moves through the body. They used opposite methods and borrowed nothing from each other. The maps overlap. The book's reason is simple: there is one body, and there are only so many good ways to describe it.

Map one

Fascia

Fascia is one continuous web of tissue. It runs from your foot to your skull and carries force along the way. Load it on purpose, and the line stops being an idea. You can feel it.

Map two

Chinese medicine

Chinese medicine maps the same body as twelve channels in four zones. Every channel ends in the hands or the feet, which is why they are called the Four Gates.

The four zones form one loop Chest to hand is the Emotional zone. Hand to head is Tech Neck. Head to foot is Armor. Foot to chest is Battery. Head Chest Hand Foot Emotional Tech Neck Armor Battery
The four zones run as one loop: chest to hand, hand to head, head to foot, foot to chest.

Tech Neck

Hand-Yang zone · hand to head

Runs through the shoulders, neck and face. Where a stiff neck, tight shoulders and headaches tend to show up.

Armor

Foot-Yang zone · head to foot

Runs down the back, the spine and the outer legs. Where lower back pain and heaviness tend to show up.

Battery

Foot-Yin zone · foot to chest

Runs through the inner legs, belly and kidneys. Where fatigue, coldness and bloating tend to show up.

Emotional

Hand-Yin zone · chest to hand

Runs through the chest and inner arms. Where anxiety, grief and a tight chest tend to show up.

You can't free a line one muscle at a time. Each of the 13 movements loads one or more of these zones.

Find the zone your stiffness lives in. Give the movements that load it more of your time.

What the book does not claim: that ancient doctors knew about fascia. It claims something simpler. There is one body, and two careful ways of looking at it drew overlapping maps.

The honest part

Real numbers. No hype.

What the research found

A 2025 meta-analysis of 16 randomized trials (1,175 people) found qigong reduced chronic low back pain and disability by a statistically significant but modest amount, just under the threshold a patient would notice. The authors called the evidence exploratory.

The book prints these numbers in chapter 27. It also makes the strongest case against its own idea, in chapter 4, and answers it.

Right after you pay, we email you a link to your White Tiger Qigong account, where you can read it online or download the PDF.
Can I buy it from anywhere in the world?
Yes. It is a digital book, so you can buy it, download it and read it anywhere in the world, on your phone, tablet or computer.
I've never done Qigong. Can I follow it?
The practice starts before the first movement, with how to stand and breathe. Then each movement gives you numbered steps, what you should feel, and what goes wrong, so you can check yourself alone in a room.
Will this fix my back pain?
No book can promise that, and this one doesn't. The best evidence so far found a modest effect on chronic low back pain, just under what a patient would notice. Chapter 27 gives you the exact numbers.
Does the book say ancient China knew about fascia?
No. It argues something simpler. Two traditions, using opposite methods and borrowing nothing from each other, drew overlapping maps of how force travels through the body, because there is one body. Chapter 4 makes the strongest case against that idea, then answers it.
Is this medical advice?
No. The book teaches a movement practice. It is not medical diagnosis or treatment.
What if it is not for me?
You are covered by our 14-day money-back guarantee. If the book is not for you, email info@whitetigerqigong.com within 14 days of buying and we will refund you.
